hey bubz. i just got popped by the feds again. this time for trespassing in a “highly-restricted area.” i don’t know why the damn area is still restricted anyway. i let my guard down because it’s disused and decomm’d mil infrastructure. all rusting steel and crumbing cement. not seen active use in literally decades.
Urban spaces have shady places. Street smarts are key, but sometimes circumstances still conspire to place you in uncomfortable situations. That might even mean actual peril. It’s important to be able to look after yourself, as there is little opportunity for backup when it comes to finding yourself in a bad location.
Life on the street has a certain… intensity. A base-level danger combines with urban crowding to make total situational awareness a must for survival. Hostility lies in all quadrants. Lurking. Menacing. In order to flow through the biomass, one must navigate an ever-changing landscape of moving threats in plastic and steel.
